Today on the show I’m absolutely delighted to welcome along Henry Firth and Ian Theasby, the duo that make up BOSH!
It’s likely that you’ve already heard of BOSH, they’re the UKs leading Vegan influencers. They launched BOSH to show how great plant-based food could be, and back in 2016 they posted a video that pretty much went viral overnight.
Since then, they’ve had an amazing 2 billion views online, with an average of 26 million views a month - quite incredible isn’t it and just shows what a following they have and how interested we are as a nation in plant based eating.
Henry and Ian and are the UK’s bestselling vegan authors with 4 published books so far. And with their latest book - Healthy Vegan being a Sunday Times Bestseller.
And to top everything off, they now host the first vegan cookery series on mainstream TV, called Living on The Veg which you can catch on ITV. It’s a fantastic show and helps to make plant based eating so much more accessible - definitely do go and check it out!

"We can just start with the one thing that we can all control, is those three meals a day that we eat. Yes, people fly and yes, people might drive a car. Maybe not everyone can afford an electric car, our they don't agree that's the right choice. But the really easy thing that we can control is what we eat every single day".

Henry Firth and Ian Theasby met at secondary school in Sheffield, where they grew up. In early 2015, Henry and Ian were living together in London when Ian gave up alcohol as part of his new year’s resolution. Finding it too easy, he upped the ante and trialed vegetarianism and then veganism. By March 2015, Ian was vegan - which Henry thought was ridiculous at the time! One evening, they both watched Cowspiracy together and Henry went vegan overnight.
They had to relearn how to cook and found there wasn’t many resources or good options for vegan food at that time. They launched BOSH! to show the world how good plant-based food could be. They posted their first video in June 2016 which went viral overnight.
They’ve now had 2 billion views online, averaging 26 million views a month and are the UK’s bestselling vegan authors. They now host the first vegan cookery series on mainstream TV.
