  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 250-300 ml passata
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1-2 tsp oregano (dried)
  • 0.5-1 tsp cinnamon (ground)
  • 160-200 g spinach
  • 20-40 g feta cheesecrumbled ((optional))
  • 10-20 g parsleytorn
  • 1 white beans (can)drained and rinsed (or giant beans)
  • 2-3 garlic clovesgrated

An easy, no chop recipe with beautiful Greek flavours and a simple cooking technique.

Gather all your ingredients.

Put the...

Put the oil, beans, passata, garlic, balsamic vinegar, honey, oregano and cinnamon in a shallow casserole dish or pan with seasoning.

Stir to...

Stir to combine, then bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.

Remove ...

Remove from the heat and stir through the spinach to wilt.

Take care not to mash the beans.

Garnish...

Garnish with feta and ripped parsley leaves.
