a lot of my clients when they first come to me, they say - but when I travel its very hard to stay healthy. So I say to them, how often do you travel and where do you travel to - okay so lets create a plan and a system for you. And its that system for change that planning helps you create. I always say to people its not you thats failed, its your system thats failed. So if you fail to make a good system then its likely that you will fail. So have a look at that system, plan out 3-5 key variants that can get in your way and start thinking about ways in which you can overcome those

Dr Heather McKee is the UK’s leading lifestyle behaviour change specialist, consultant and founder of drheathermckee.co.uk Having studied health behaviour change and weight loss psychology for 10 years her mission is to offer an evidence-based sustainable alternative to an industry saturated with quick fixes and health fads. She works as a habit coach (working 1:1 with clients to support them in overcoming their barriers to healthy habits) and as a behaviour change specialist (supporting businesses in designing and delivering in-person and digital wellness programmes for long term adherence and positive health outcomes). Her passion is in translating evidence-based techniques into real-life practices to help people build the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to create lasting and enjoyable healthy habits.
